Kate Scurria Neville started her career in private practice at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and served as an attorney for the New York City Public Schools before working in management consulting, advising government entities and foundations on designing and implementing change. A cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School and Princeton University, she has held research, teaching, and administrative appointments at prominent universities as well as senior management positions in non-profit organizations.

For over 12 years, Kate has provided leadership and executive coaching and consulting to experienced attorneys, helping them to expand capacity, perspectives, and skills as they take on new responsibilities in progressively senior management and leadership roles in a range of organizations. Her clients include prominent law and professional services firms, financial institutions, global nonprofit organizations, and industry associations.

Throughout her work, Kate has facilitated a range of high-stakes conversations as well as programs related to change and inclusivity, most recently facilitating a group as part of Georgetown University's Institute for Transformational Leadership (ITL) Pivot: New Normal program and developing Conversations About Race. She also coaches participants in several business programs, including Diversity Woman conferences, the Halcyon incubator, and the Impact Center.

Kate serves as a co-chair of the Diversity Committee of the Women’s Bar Association of DC and is a Mentor Coach with the Coach Diversity Institute (CDI). She is a Certified Professional Diversity Coach (CPDC), an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), a PROSCI Change Management Practitioner, and a member of the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). A former Texan and New Yorker, she currently resides in Washington, DC, with her husband as recent empty nesters, and works with clients across the country.
